Next Level 901 Boys Basketball delivers elite developmental training in a high-performance environment designed to challenge, support, and elevate every athlete. All programming takes place at the Memphis Sports & Events Center (MSEC), a premier facility that allows our coaches to teach with consistency, structure, and purpose.
Next Level 901 Boys Basketball is a boys-centered development basketball club program designed to meet athletes where they are and intentionally guide them forward on the court and beyond it.

COACHES
Jordan Cooper
Club Director
Jordan Cooper, the MSEC's Sports Coordinator and Club Director for Next Level 901 Developmental Boys Basketball Club, brings a wealth of experience to this program. A skilled athlete, Coach Jordan's playing background includes Division 1 Basketball experience, while also being a former tryout prospect for the NBA G League/Memphis Hustle. His coaching experience is just as tenured with close to a decade working with all ages and skill levels. From grade school to high level college players, Coach Jordan has experience working and connecting with players all across the city of Memphis.
Coach Jordan wishes to share his thirst for knowledge and pure passion for the game by exemplifying what it means and what it takes to be the complete basketball player. Motivated purely by love and passion for player development, he is truly committed to building a program with those same principles.
Shawn Taggart
Coach Shawn Taggart is a former professional basketball player and experienced coach with over 15 years of experience in player development and team leadership. He played professionally from 2009–2019, including competing in the NBA Summer League with the Toronto Raptors, and competed in more than 12 countries worldwide.
Coach Taggart served as Head Coach at Collierville High School (2022–2024), leading the program to a District Championship, focusing on player development and game strategy. He has conducted basketball camps and clinics across the U.S. and internationally and has trained professional and college-bound athletes since 2011.
Known for his leadership and mentorship, Coach Taggart is committed to developing disciplined, high-character student-athletes and building winning cultures on and off the court.

Amarion Jones is a young and talented rising basketball coach dedicated to developing youth athletes. With close to 2 years of experience, he excels at connecting with players and fostering growth both on and off the court. Coach Jones emphasizes fundamentals, teamwork, and mental toughness. His basketball journey began at Faith Prep Academy, where he played under Coach Daniel Bandy, a former professional overseas player who significantly influenced Amarion's game and mindset. In 2021, Amarion gained valuable experience in college-level coaching, preparation, and player development as a walk-on and team manager for the Austin Peay State University men’s basketball program. Coach Jones now applies that same work ethic, leadership, and love for the game to his coaching career. He is committed to building complete players, pushing them to reach their full potential while instilling crucial values such as accountability, respect, and resilience.
