Founded with a vision to raise the standard for youth basketball in Memphis, Next Level 901 is a girls basketball club rooted in pride, tenacity, and an unshakable work ethic. We are committed to developing well-rounded athletes through a culture of excellence, discipline, and relentless growth.
Our program provides access to elite facilities, professional-level training, and a developmental system that focuses on long-term player success mentally, physically, and emotionally. From fundamentals to advanced concepts, players are trained to compete at the highest level while building the endurance to sustain their success through every season.
At Next Level 901, our mission is to shape leaders, foster confidence, and push athletes beyond limits they thought possible. With a strong focus on individual development, team chemistry, and competitive integrity, we create an environment where girls don’t just play basketball they thrive in it.

Coach Kendal Ducksworth: Kendal Ducksworth is a passionate basketball coach and student of the game, currently pursuing a degree in Sports Coaching at the University of Memphis. A proud graduate of MAHS (Memphis Academy of Health Sciences), Kendal helped lead his high school team to a state runner-up finish, demonstrating leadership, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to the sport he’s loved since day one. He shifted his focus to coaching,pouring his knowledge and heart into the next generation of athletes. Over the past six seasons, Kendal has coached at various levels, building a reputation for his ability to connect with players, develop talent, and lead with integrity. His coaching philosophy centers around the belief that basketball is more than just a game—it’s a powerful platform to build character, confidence, and discipline. Whether athletes go on to play at higher levels or not, Kendal is committed to helping them grow as individuals and believe in the power of their own journey.
Coach Jalonnie Spears: Coach JaLonnie Spears is a dedicated basketball trainer and player development coach from Memphis, Tennessee. A former collegiate athlete, he played three years of basketball at Bethel University, where he built the foundation for his disciplined and detail-oriented approach to the game. Currently a senior at the University of Memphis, JaLonnie is set to graduate in Fall 2025. After graduation, he plans to continue his journey as a Player Development Specialist or pursue a full-time coaching career. JaLonnie has coached at the prestigious USA Basketball Camp and is a member of the Basic Athletic Measurement (BAM) team—an organization recognized for its role in NBA Combine athletic testing. His training sessions focus on skill development, basketball IQ, and leadership, helping athletes reach their full potential both on and off the court. Coach Spears is committed to developing confident, well-rounded players through hard work, fundamentals, and a passion for the game.
Coach Jamie Chambers: Jamie Chambers is an accomplished educator and coach with over a decade of experience developing student-athletes both on and off the court. A graduate of Trezevant High School, she was a standout honor student and multi-sport athlete, earning accolades for her achievements in basketball and track—including a 37-point single-game performance and a 57.4-second finish in the 400-meter dash.
She continued her athletic career at Alabama State University, where she earned a full basketball scholarship and graduated in 2010. She later pursued her passion for education, earning a Master’s degree in Education from Grand Canyon University.
Ms. Chambers has served as a girls basketball and volleyball coach at Raleigh-Egypt High School for over 10 years, where she also teaches 9th-grade English. Her coaching career began in 2015 with a 4th grade boys team at Christ Methodist Day School, which she led to an undefeated season. In 2022, she expanded her expertise to the collegiate level as a women’s basketball coach at Shawnee Community College in Illinois.
With a proven track record of leadership, player development, and academic support, Jamie Chambers is committed to empowering young athletes and preparing them for success at the next level.
Coach Monica Porter: Monica Porter brings a lifelong passion for basketball and a wealth of experience to every team she leads. Having been involved in the game since the age of five, she has dedicated her life to developing young athletes both on and off the court.Coach Porter has coached at various levels, including AAU programs, youth club teams, and currently serves as a coach at Delano Optional Elementary School. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes the importance of fundamentals, teamwork, and a strong competitive mindset.
Known for her ability to build confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for the game, Coach Porter creates a positive and structured environment where athletes can thrive. Her commitment to youth development and her deep understanding of the game make her a valuable asset to the Next Level 901 coaching staff.

Developmental:
Ages 7U–15U | Ideal for beginners learning fundamentals like ball handling, teamwork, and court awareness.
Includes weekly practices focused on skill-building and confidence development.
Players compete in local scrimmages and in-house games within a supportive, learning-focused environment.
Regional:
Ages 11U–15U | For advanced players focused on elite skill work, strength, and game IQ
Two weekly sessions plus regional/national tournament play (travel required)
Designed to prepare college-bound athletes with the tools and exposure to succeed
Local:
Ages 9U–15U | For intermediate players ready for structured, competitive team play
Two weekly practices plus optional skills sessions
Competes in local weekend tournaments with minimal travel to build game consistency

From playing to leading, sports have taught her discipline, drive, and the value of hard work. As Club Director of Next Level 901, Jasmine brings that same energy and purpose into developing young athletes. She understands the life-changing impact sports can have, the confidence it builds, the lessons it teaches, and the places it can take you. Committed to pouring into the next generation, Jasmine uses basketball as a powerful tool to inspire, uplift, and open doors for youth in her community.
