Kiyla Glasper

Tournament director, Memphis Sports and Events Center

A former athlete, Kiyla Glasper always wanted to impact the lives of young women and men through faith and sports. She says she’s remained adamant about letting nothing overshadow her central goal of instilling values, confidence, and lifelong wisdom in the lives of her athletes.

Glasper says the Memphis Sports and Event Center’s future is bright.

“Kiyla’s already helped attract a number of events to Memphis it might not have otherwise seen without her involvement, which, in turn, helps boost the economy via hotel stays, food spends, attraction visits, etc.,” her 40 Under 40 nominator wrote, “while also creating new programs that will engage and empower local youth.”
